In 1998, Jaime Burpo-Sterling established the Langlois Mountain Retreat. Created out of an 1800′s post office/hotel, this historic site later housed the world renown Millard Boys Academy of the 1950′s and 60′s. Langlois Mountain Retreat rests at 1200 feet, overlooking the scenic Oregon Coast. Meandering trails lead you through the 80 acres of enchanting forests, alder groves, meadows and flower gardens, delivering you to sweeping vistas of distant mountains and the Pacific Ocean. The original six buildings have been completed restored and renewed. All offer hardwood floors, high beam ceilings, and plenty of windows to enjoy the breathtaking views.
